Doing so might unlock an ancient hidden secret. Refusing might destroy them.

Yet the acquisition has freed their most hated enemy and he wants the needles as much as they do. But why are they so important to him? The clues may serve to solve their family’s long-standing mystery. Or lead them right into his clutches.

Can the couple cast off this twisted enigma or will their inheritance unravel their lives?
So if you like to read with Prime, now, too, is the time.

This feels weird to me, as the last time the series was free of KU was… 2018, I think. But with reading habits changing, and with Amazon not paying authors much anyway these days, I guess now is the time.

(*That pay-per-page? is about $0.004443 Per Page Which means on these books (anywhere from 200-300 pages, I make $1.24-$1.33–total for each book read in its entirety), for which I’ve been required to keep these books exclusive to Amazon, for years. )

Doesn’t seem worth it, does it?

Especially with so many readers jumping-ship on Amazon and Kindle Unlimited.

Anyway, so that’s why I’m slowly leaving KU, and if you want to read them there, you need to do so now. (I still have a few more series that will be in KU for a bit longer (Vesta’s Clockwork Companions and Clockwork & Courtship roll out on June 14, Iron Paws rolls on July 3), if you want them, you can find the list here.) You can see how weird the drops are. Books one and 3 fall out before Book two.

And since we’re off to a start with this “newsletter” this morning, I hope you enjoy my latest guest, Bethany Drake’ Tears of the Queen. You can read more about her book here in the latest “Who’s Who”. Apologies, Bethany, for taking so long to post this.

Tears of the Queen by Bethany Drake, paranormal romance

That’s all for now. Thanks for reading, y’all. I hope you enjoy the books!
