(Well that’s not their official titles, but… Easter’s on its way–Goodness, how are we at Easter already??) At any rate, I have two bits of news for you. Sales and book news: (see below the cut for the links)
News point #1), I’m getting closer to finishing the next book in my Camden Girls series (for those of you awaiting my next Historical romance) and the next Antique Magic book. Woot! So, almost nailed my goals for Q1. Stay tuned for those releases, I hope before Christmas–heck, I hope before summer is over!
Too ambitious? We’ll see.
News point #2: I’ve put Changeling’s Crown out in all ebook sellers (scratch that, all but Googleplay. That’s a little more involved, but …do any of you purchase books at Googleplay?
I just found this lovely quote on the Tome Tender blog:
Review: “(In Druid Defiance) Ms. Revezzo has added another great tale to this series and shored up each character with more depth. In the battle of good versus evil, who will win, the forces of darkness or the Steward who could go Bridezilla on them all?” 5 Stars ~Dii, Tome Tender.
Thank you, Dii! 🙂
If you’d like to check Druid Defiance out, of course, it is (along with the entire series and related books) available at Amazon. I hope y’all will enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing it!
And now for something a little different…maybe. Here’s my sneak peek for Keeper of the Grove (Stewards War, book one) for this Sunday:
Stacy’s gaze went to Aaron’s, and butterflies dashed around in her stomach. A vision flashed before her of how his eyes might look glazed over in passion. “Maybe we should go.” She cleared her throat, stood and moved to the filing cabinet, changed her mind and went to the desk again. The fabled diary! She was beside herself with excitement. She’d have the diary. What a month this was turning out to be. “When can we meet him?” Aaron came forward and ran a finger over the calendar’s slots. “How about tomorrow morning?” “Yes.” She nodded emphatically. “Perfect. Nineish?” “Tomorrow it is.” He nodded and turned toward the door. The thrill of this discovery overwhelmed her. An urge to kiss him in thanks struck her hard in the chest. “Aaron?” He met her gaze, waiting. Her brain screamed, halt! She wanted to touch him at least. Her fingers twitched. She stepped back. She just couldn’t. “I’ll see you at nine.” He turned away with a knowing glint in his eyes. She was such a fool.

Synopsis:
Stacy Macken has one goal in mind: saving her renowned history center from greedy creditors. Losing it would be a catastrophe—one she doesn’t know how she’ll avoid.
Until Aaron Fielding arrives. To all human eyes, he is just like any man, but he reminds Stacy of one of the fae. He certainly enchants her like a fae lover would. But Stacy suspects there is more to this sexy fellow, with his tales of the Tuatha dé Danann, and magical warriors from Celtic legend who protect humanity from a wicked enemy seeking their destruction. Does his appearance mean the end of the world imminent?
Can she, a studious woman more intent on history books with no training in or love of war, possibly have anything to offer when a long-prophesied druidic battle explodes around her?
*** Previously published as Passion’s Sacred Dance by Juli D. Revezzo *** Bonus: Includes brand new flash fiction piece, “About A Warrior”
If you’d like to get a copy of this, (or its new novel in the Stewards War series), it’s available for sale or to borrow with Amazon Prime at …well, Amazon 🙂
Dropping in once again to add, I’ve added a few books to the Smashwords Summer Sale. You can find Murder Upon a Midnight Clear there for a discount:
Available at Amazon and elsewhere
Murder reminds Detective Helene Collias that crime doesn’t take holidays. And the last victim she expected to find in her case files this Christmas is the sister of her old flame, Sean Grant. Ordinarily, Helene’s psychic gifts give her an edge but this time, that gift has short-circuited. Could her lingering attraction to Sean be blurring her abilities, or is something more sinister at work?
Also, my historical romance novel House of Dark Envy is also available at Smashwords now:
Synopsis:
When Sarahjane attended a costume party, she didn’t expect to see her old beau whose lies labeled her a flirt in the eyes of London Society and who is now on the cusp of a world-changing discovery.
Has fate returned to grant Sarahjane and Felix their wishes, or terrorize them?
And also, my historical fantasy novel, Frigga’s Lost Army is free there, too,
Synopsis:
In 1943, Benjamin is just a grunt and Army cook—until he finds himself taken prisoner after the Battle of Tunisia. Transported to a POW camp in Italy, Benjamin encounters a woman bearing an uncanny resemblance to the goddess Frigga, and he wonders if he hasn’t become entangled in a battle between the natural and the supernatural—a battle for the present and the future.

About the Story: Bensin, a teenage slave and martial artist, is desperate to see his little sister freed. But only victory in the Krillonian Empire’s most prestigious tournament will allow him to secretly arrange for Ellie’s escape. Dangerous people are closing in on her, however, and Bensin is running out of time. With his one hope fading quickly away, how can Bensin save Ellie from a life of slavery and abuse?
What is the Collar for, and What is a Cavvarach? The story is set in a world very much like our own, with just a few major differences. One is that slavery is legal there. Slaves must wear metal collars that lock around their neck, making their enslaved status obvious to everyone. Any slave attempting to escape faces the dilemma of how and where to illegally get their collar removed (a crime punishable by enslavement for the remover). Another difference is the popularity of a martial art called cavvara shil. It is fought with a cavvarach (rhymes with “have a rack”), an unsharpened weapon similar to a sword but with a steel hook protruding from partway down its top edge. Competitors can strike at each other with their feet as well as with the blades. You win in one of two ways: disarming your opponent (hooking or knocking their cavvarach out of their hands) or pinning their shoulders to the mat for five seconds.
More About the Story
Set in a world alarmingly like our own, The Collar and the Cavvarach is the story of fourteen-year-old Bensin, a slave, whose status is made obvious to everyone by the steel collar locked around his neck. A martial artist who competes to win money for his owner, Bensin fights in tournaments with a cavvarach. But his greatest battle is the struggle to protect his little sister from the horrors of legalized slavery in a world where slaves have few rights. Desperate to keep her safe, Bensin struggles to find a means – legal or otherwise – to arrange for her freedom. (For a fun introduction to the story’s setting and its culture, including an explanation of how cavvara shil works, click here.)

Not saying we have it as bad as those of you getting snowed on but WOW did the temps drop this weekend! (And we’re already–slightly–warming back up).
And I finally got Draft2Digital figured out. Their support was wonderful. 🙂 So if you’re an indie author and looking for a way to go “wide” I’d say give them a try.
Also, I’ve got a new freebie short story up, for Christmas entitled No Such Thing as Dasher. It’s a holiday themed short story. The synopsis is as follows:
For Avery, her holiday duties as a forest ranger oftentimes involve tracking revelers who have lost their way in her wilderness domain. After a camper clashes with a reindeer, however, Avery is shocked to discover the creature is defended not by Santa, but by the formidable, yet gentle, shapeshifting Lord of the Forest.
Can the magic of the forest bring together a ranger and a supernatural being, or is Avery destined to celebrate yet another Christmas alone?
An enchanting fairy tale to celebrate the magic of the season!
Please note, there are some Amazon stores at which the story might not yet be free but I’m hoping they will come in line with the others before New Year’s. If it’s not free where you are, please check back.
I hope you enjoy this little freebie short story, and have a lovely Christmas!
