A Light Yule Problem \\ reading out loud

As an addendum to my post about the new story in the Antique Magic series, A LIGHT YULE PROBLEM, if you’d like to listen to the author read the story to you, I put up a video of myself reading it that you can play on my Youtube channel.

I’m not used to reading on camera, so please, be kind to my nervous mistakes. But along with the story, I thought you, my friends and fans, might enjoy hearing the author read it to you.

If you’d like to get a copy to follow along with, you can find it at Amazon, or here. Also, if you’d like to check out The Artist’s Inheritance, book one in the series, it’s currently on sale for $.99 at Amazon, for until New Years. Enjoy!

Weekend news and reviews

Druid Warrior's Heart by Juli D. Revezzo, Celtic mythology, Medieval romanceWow, is it Saturday already? This week has flown by and I’ve spent it…writing. (What else, oh. Well, letting my back rest [ouch!] and knitting, but that’s a different post). I’ve  already got my first 10,000 words in for the year. Been working very hard on the sequel to Druid Warrior’s Heart, while awaiting revisions for another, (and letting Mourning Dove Locket’s revisions percolate). In the meantime, I found some nice reviews for Keeper of the Grove and Druid Warrior’s Heart so I thought I’d share them. 🙂

This one came in earlier in the month.  The reviewer said, of DWH: “Her work is masterfully woven and absolutely delightful.”

She also had this to say about Keeper of the Grove:

I couldn’t put this book down. If you like breathtaking, spellbinding, intrigue, compelling characters. This is your book and you will be looking forward to many more as I am. ” Debi Allen, Amazon

Shucks! Thank you, Debi! That’s so sweet. 🙂

And of Druid Warrior’s Heart this came in from Tony.
“Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns…This could also make another great true/false historical romance movie, or mini TV series.”

Wow. Wouldn’t that be great? (Hey, a gal can dream)

And last but not least, this one came in yesterday for Druid Warrior’s Heart at Tome Tender. Thank you, Dii!

A great start to the year. Thank you all! I’ve been reading a couple good books, myself: this Victorian Romance By Suzanne G. Rogers and this vampire novel, and this fantasy romance novel by Jolene Dawe. Oh, yeah. And the new Moorcock novel, when I’m not doing all that other stuff. (I don’t read much, do I? ;)) Meanwhile, I’m going back to er… work. 🙂 Have a great weekend!

What I’m reading Monday

As found at One Person’s Journey through a World of Books

My reading hasn’t changed much from last week. Today, I am working closer to the end of Susan Kearney‘s Jordan! Romance fans, you must have heard of this one, by now. It’s the fabulous third (*sniff* final )volume in Ms. Kearney’s Science Fiction Romance Pendragon series–one that I’m personally very fond of. 🙂 After that… I’m also working on Erica Ridley‘s Too Wicked To Kiss, Patty G. Henderson‘s Ximora, and Susan McBride‘s The Cougar Club. So, that’s the answer to that question, today. 🙂

Who is your favorite book couple? Meme

This from La Femme Readers’ blog.

Herm…this is a tough one. I think they change all the time, but right off the bat, I have to say I’m pretty much in love with Rain and Ellysetta from C.L. Wilson‘s Tairen Soul series. 🙂 Second to them would be Lucan and Cael from Susan Kearney‘s Pendragon Cycle, and lastly Terence and Rachel (poor Rachel) from Virginia Woolf’s The Voyage Out. So those would be my choices….at the moment. This can always change later… Who are your favorites?

And please link this meme back to me, and La Femme Readers? 🙂 Can’t wait to see the answers!
