Unsure, she agrees to allow Henry to go along, as her spokesman and husband, regardless of how her father may feel about a fake marriage.
But they have bigger problems than her father’s anger when an anti-alchemist group takes issue with her clockwork creations and decide they need to stop Vesta’s work. By any means, no matter how violent.

Set up, Vesta is at work on a new automaton and her father is getting ready to leave on a trip so has a little warning for Henry, in case their chaperone falls asleep on the job. 😉

New Year, new release

For this new year’s day, I wanted to pop in and wish you a happy new year, full of the best that makes you happy. Let’s spread happiness this year, shall we?

So, did you accomplish all you set out to this, past year? I did–for the most part. I’ll be shuffling some of last year’s tasks into the 2022 and I have some news! At long last, my next audiobook has released.

That’s right. There’s now an audiobook version of Vesta’s Clockwork Companions. My narrator, Karen Rose Richter, worked very hard on this audiobook and I think she did a fantastic job! I can’t wait until you all hear how she voiced the heroine and hero–and especially the hero’s best friend. Her portrayal of him is, I think, worth the listen. 🙂

Beyond excited. You know this. You saw it coming the last few days. 🙂 Miss Camden Kissed the Duke (Camden Girls book 3) is live on Amazon.

I have to say, as much as I love the hero of the first book in the series, this is probably my favorite of them. It’s about the youngest daughter of a 19th century London stationmaster and an ambitious young half-American Duke. If you love Victorian romance, I hope you’ll enjoy this latest book in the Camden Girls series. (Please leave a review on Amazon if you do! :))
