Druid Warrior Prince Synopsis:

Gwenevieve Macken’s well-ordered world falls into chaos as encroaching interlopers scheme to possess both her and her land. Although she’s been trained to spot the signs of inhuman evil in men, the amassing armies take on guises she never expected. When a foreign guardian presents himself as her only option for salvation, Gwenevieve must make a choice between her desires, and fulfilling the mythic fate to which she was born. A forced marriage to a Tuatha dé Danann warrior isn’t part of her plan. Nor was true love.
A Medieval romantasy novel set in a mythic Ireland.
Reviews:
Druid Warrior Prince is a fast-paced medieval romance with neat magic and interesting characters. It’s the third book in the Celtic Stewards Chronicles, but it can be read at any time in the series and doesn’t have any cliffhangers. It’s a pagan story about Tuatha dé Danann warriors, Druid heroes, and evil Harbingers. The climax in the story happens on Samhain, where our modern-day Halloween comes from. It’s a coming-of-age story with a strong female protagonist named Gwenevieve. She has misplaced ideals when it comes to choosing a husband. I don’t like to give any clues away, but I was disappointed that her newly realized ability and recently acquired weapons weren’t used in the main battle. This book was lots of fun to read. Please be aware that there is some sexual content without being overly explicit. For this reason, I would suggest that it’s more appropriate for new adults. I received a free digital copy of this book. This is an honest and voluntary review. ~Tina Morely

For Miss Phoebe Lockswell, fashionable London tea parties and balls aren’t her style. Instead, she prefers to tinker tirelessly with a clockwork diffuser she’s built from scratch. If only she can get the invention to work on command, she might earn her way out of an arranged marriage to a repugnant member of the House of Commons.
London watchmaker Mortimer Kidd was brought up hard in the arms of an infamous London gang. Despite the respectability he strives for now, the gang leader is blackmailing him. When Mortimer sees Phoebe’s diffuser, he thinks he’s found a way to buy himself out of trouble. The brash Phoebe manages to steal his heart, however, before he can purloin her invention.
Will Mortimer’s unsavory past catch up to him before he convinces Phoebe of his devotion? Worse, once Phoebe learns the truth, will she ever trust him again?
(A Victorian Romance with a spunky heroine and steampunk elements!)
Reviews: “This is a fascinating Victorian era love story…one of those books I couldn’t put down. I read it in one day as I wanted to know what happened.” ~Long & Short Reviews
“I liked Phoebe’s independent and spunky attitude, and I adored the hero, Mortimer. ..I enjoyed the story very much, especially since it’s slightly off the beaten path as far as formulaic Victorian romance goes. I also rooted for the young couple to get to their HEA! Recommended.” ~Suzanne
