Hi, all. I hope you are all well. Some news to be thankful for this year, though we had some trouble from Hurricane Milton and Helene, we are in far better shape than some others. I feel for them, truly.
But thankfully, hurricane season is over.
Books: I finished
Curse So Dark and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer, another retelling of Beauty and the Beast, but this time, I could relate to the heroine but…you know? It didn’t really add anything to the tale. Otherwise, I did enjoy the book.
Have you read any new books you really enjoyed?
Good news this time! I have finished the revisions for the next book in the Lost Slipper Society. Editing will begin shortly. Do I have a title for it? Yes, yes I do. So, something to be thankful for there. 🙂 I’ll be sharing that in a forthcoming newsletter. Stay tuned!
So on to the real news. Just wanted to let you know that I’ve put a book on sale for Black Friday. Yes, Courting the Stationmaster’s Daughter will be $.99 this weekend. (And the paperback is also marked down a few dollars in case you’d like something to wrap up for a fellow historical romance fan).
If you haven’t seen it before, its synopsis follows:

After Honorine Camden is jilted, leaving her stunned and sparking a scandal in her tiny London borough of Wallflower, she’s devastated. But when she overhears her father, the stationmaster, talking about arranging a Christmas party for their newly-minted underground railway station, she volunteers to help. Although she’s intrigued with the handsome assistant stationmaster, Shane MacIntyre, she never expects to fall head-over-heels in love with him. Unfortunately, one tragic accident might derail everything.
Setting: South London, 1879
A Sweet historical romance
It will be on sale November 29-December 5. I hope you’ll like it.

That’s all for now, y’all. Thanks for reading! I hope you are doing well, and find something there you’ll love, and don’t forget to leave a review, if you do. Also, if you celebrate(d) it, I hope you had a happy Thanksgiving!
