Gentle Update for the week.

This week was a little better than last week. I’m feeling a little better, depending on which way I turn or sit. But I managed to fix (I think knock on wood) the link to my new Facebook page. (You’ll find that on my site’s main page, if you care to).

Writing/editing:

I also finished three four chapters in my next sweet Victorian romance (the follow-up to Letters to Ellie, I’ve been talking about for months). We’re creeping closer to the end. I am finally into the third act. (hallelujah) I have only about 65 pages to go.

For reading, I'm still plugging along in the Thelonious Monk book I mentioned the last two weeks. This sucker is dense and spends way too much time on things that have nothing to do with Monk. grumble Anyway, he's 19 now where I last left off. Woohoo. He's got to be hitting the Big Time anytime now (right?) shakes head 50 pages down, 400 more to go. And I advanced more in 100 Years of Solitude. ( less than 300 to go in that one).

Listening to this week:

Miles Davis. I happened upon a livestream of Miles ‘56 on Youtube Friday and have been listening to that all weekend. It’s pretty cool. It’s danged hot, so maybe listening to cool music will help?

What you may have missed on the blog this week:

I managed another From the Archive post this week: It’s here:

From the Archive: What’s your ideal hero in sweet Victorian romance?

And also, a Book Hooks entry.

At any rate, that’s me for this week. How was your week? And, happy father’s day, everyone!
