Book prices going up soon

Hi, everyone,

I hope you’re having a good day so far. I woke up to some irritating news.

Amazon will be raising printing costs soon, so the prices of my paperback books will be rising–after June 20, 2023. If you want to snag some at the old prices. I’ll keep a few lower for the next week. Those whose prices have to be adjusted will be:

Romance (historical and fantasy romance respectively)

Unfortunately, one tragic accident might derail everything.

and The Artist’s Inheritance will also be rising.

The Artist's Inheritance book cover.
Caitlin didn’t plan to live in a haunted house, but what’s a witch to do?

WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?

Simply, Big Business. The printers have raised their prices and unfortunately, Amazon passes that off to me, in the form of… cutting my royalties. As the printing rate hike cuts into my royalties, I have to raise the price to, you know, not make $0 every time y’all want a paperback. If you’ve bought books from any other marketplace lately, you’ll likely have noticed this.
From what I’ve been reading, Amazon is one of the last hold-outs as far as raising their prices go.* I don’t often say this, but good for Amazon!

Right?

I suppose it had to happen. Like you, I had hoped things would finally go back to normal, post pandemic, but like you, I’m still waiting for that fabled day.

Anyway, I hope you’ll find something you like, here. And, meanwhile, if you’re an ebook reader, those prices are staying the same (except for the occasional sale, of course).

(*Things are looking a bit crazy over there, anyway. If you noticed my post from three days ago, two of my paperbacks were going for less than $5; today Amazon’s got them priced at $7.27 and $7.91 respectively. Weird! Still a bargain since their normal list price is $11.99 and $12.99, FYI, but still.)

Now for a bit of good news. I’m back to writing! I’ve only just started a new manuscript, so it may be sometime before I have more news to share on that front. Since Christmas, I’ve been starting and abandoning several projects (hence, why I haven’t even made a Youtube video lately), but I feel confident this one is finally going to stick, as it were. We shall see. Stay tuned and hopefully, I’ll have something new to share with you all by or even before Fall. (Ye gods, how is it May, already???)

In the meantime, thanks for reading! I hope you are doing well, and find something there you’ll love, and don’t forget to leave a review, if you do.

best magical witches–er, wishes,
Juli D. Revezzo

New boxed set for fantasy romance lovers

As I hinted in my last post, I have a new release. An ebook boxed set of my fantasy romance series: Stewards War is now available for preorder.

The roots of these novels lie in Celtic Mythology and Lore. The heroes of Keeper of the Grove and its sequel Bitter Thorn Tribe is one of many immortal warriors in the Tuatha dé Danann’s army known as the Harshad Warriors. They are an elite regiment for the Tuatha dé Danann whose leaders love and protect each generation’s Steward from the evil god Balor. The struggle between the Tuatha dé Danaan and Balor represents a war spanning from mythic Ireland through the Medieval period and into present day Florida overseen by one daughter of a special, chosen family without whom, the world might truly be in peril.

The set includes all three books in the trilogy:

Stewards War boxed set

Keeper of the Grove and the flash fiction “About a Warrior”

Bitter Thorn Tribe

and Druid Defiance.

The boxed set (at the moment) gives you a bit  of a discount than if you bought the three books separately.

I hope you will enjoy it the series!

New in the enchanted world of Antique Magic!

So, I bet you wonder what I’ve been doing. I did not fall off the face of the Earth. I’ve been busy writing. If you’ve been around for a while, you know this, you’ve seen my books in the Antique Magic series. Haven’t you? So with that in mind, I have a new release to show you. Ready?

Presenting….

Witch’s Wood!

Witch's Wood by Juli D. Revezzo, urban fantasy, Antique Magic series, dragons, King Arthur

Synopsis:

Caitlin and Trevor inherit a set of enchanted knitting needles, needles that tangle them in another supernatural yarn. Yet the acquisition has freed their most hated enemy and he wants the needles as much as they do. But why are they so important to him? The clues may serve to solve their family’s long-standing mystery. Or lead them right into his clutches.

Can the couple cast off this twisted enigma or will their inheritance unravel their lives?

This particular installment sees them receiving … well, two things, actually, a map, which (if you read the previous book in the series, The Dragon’s Seamstress, you already know a little about) and–when Trevor’s sister-in-law visits–a set of knitting needles that…come with a very interesting story and a familial connection of which they never dreamed. What is it? Let’s go find out. 🙂

This image has an empty alt attribute; its file name is buynow_button1.jpg

(If you have KU, it’s also available to borrow there, but if you were to purchase, the book is $1 off its regular price for the next few days!)

The rest of the series is, of course, as follows:

The Artist’s Inheritance

Caitlin’s Book of Shadows

Drawing Down the Shades

Mourning Dove Locket

The Dragon’s Seamstress

A Light Yule Problem

Witch’s Wood <–You are here.

As the series is sequential, I really recommend you read them in order, if you haven’t already. Enjoy and thank you for reading Caitlin’s stories! If you read them, don’t forget to leave reviews, particularly at Amazon.

End of April update and sale

Hi, everyone. I hope you’re doing well this morning. I’m coming in here to give you a heads up about another sff sale including two of my novels–Druid Warrior Prince as well as Changeling’s Crown. You can find that here:

SFF Book Bonanza 99cent april sale

Also, a little update. Nanowrimo’s April Camp Nanowrimo is speeding fast to its end. What have I been doing? Well, over the last year, in between finishing Camden Girls, (book 3 forthcoming!) And Stewards War (all available now) and Antique Magic (audiobooks of book 1 in the works and book 7 resting) I have written 2 books and 2 chapters of a trilogy set in the same world as Changeling’s Crown, based on another fairy tale. 🙂 I want to get the final manuscript written before I publish the first book so maybe you won’t have to wait so long for the series end. That’s the plan, anyway. I am hoping to have it solid enough to release book one by August or September. At least, that was the plan last August when I started the massive headache project. Keep an ear out.

I’ve also pulled a mass of papers out of my backlog which will comprise a new secret project. Want a peek?
