I’m sorry about this, June. I had this scheduled but a lot of the posts have missed schedule. *glares at blog* Folks, go check her out. I hope you enjoy her post. I give you contemporary romance author June McCullough:
Thanks everyone, for coming by for our little Halloween shindig. The sugar high isn’t exactly gone yet, but Night Mistress has been dragged kicking and screaming back into her vault for the season. As for the minions, I have them cleaning up the mess Mistress and Franken-Helsing left behind. Sheesh. Boy, is being a minion tiring! What’s on tap for the rest of the fall? I need to consult the oracles but I suspect … yes, really, in all seriousness, you can expect more writing so we can get that next special story out for you, probably more babbling. I have some pictures I might upload (The drum circle this time out was nice, if…shall we say “chilly”–For my friends out in the North and northwest, stop laughing. Yes, I was chilly this weekend!). I hope those of you in the path of the storm–ahem–weathered it well. No pun intended. What a weird year this has been yes?
There’s that sugar high I mentioned. Maybe it’s more like lack of sleep. Anyway, I just wanted to check in and say a public thanks to all our guests. I enjoyed having you. All the Halloween giveaways are still running. You have until November 4th to comment for some free stuff. 🙂 Have a good one, and let’s hope, no tummy aches!
Sorry to break character, folks but I’ve got a little bit of writerly news to impart. I’m going to be a guest of the fine ladies at Slip Into Something Victorian today. So, while you’re having fun here, please stop by and say hi to me over there. Also, I’ve dropped the price of the ebook The Artist’s Inheritance at Amazon/Barnes and Noble and Smashwords to $.99 for a very limited time, so if you haven’t gotten it yet and wanted to, now’s the time. 🙂
Now, back to the party. 🙂
Ahem…. For those of you that have been following my publishing exploits, I have two announcements. One, (and darn Smashwords beat me to it–like button hitting I guess) Anyway…. my new story is out now:
House of Cards. A creepy little sampling (at a bargain price) for the upcoming Halloween Holiday….
Can you gamble with Fate?
A young nobleman escapes the Reign of Terror in 18th century France to find himself dragged into an even worse fate–a hellish underworld wherein he is cajoled and put on trial by a demon tribunal for crimes he never committed. Can he answer thwart his fate, one worse than the guillotine?
Genre: Horror, Paranormal, Mythic. $.99
And Two, it and The Artist’s Inheritance, are finally (finally!) available on Nook.
Settling into their new home in Gulf Breeze, Florida, Caitlin senses changes come over her husband Trevor. He’s obsessed with a beautiful chair he’s carving, a passion that smacks of his familial curse dating back to the Civil War.
Armed with newfound precognitive abilities, and little experience of the supernatural, Caitlin must proceed with caution. If she fails to break this cycle of damnation, she’ll lose forever the one thing she loves most: Trevor.
Genre: Paranormal fantasy/horror
I hope you enjoy them!
