DRUID WARRIOR PRINCE is the third installment in the Celtic Stewards Chronicles series. It continues the backward progression of Stacy Macken’s ancestral dealings as the stewards of a sacred battleground for the Tuatha dé Danann’s; Harshad Wars. What are the Harshad* Wars? They are battles the Celtic gods, the Tuatha dé Danann, and their specially-chosen harshad warriors fight with the evil Formorii god Balor for the ultimate fate of the world, every 500 years. Those battles which, should the steward and the harshad warriors lose, means the end of the world as we know it!
(And in some cases, the end of the world as we think we know it. ;))
The Macken family and their connection to the battles were introduced in Passion’s Sacred Dance and Druid Warrior’s Heart.
DRUID WARRIOR PRINCE tells a story previously unknown to Stacy, of the life of her Irish 6th century ancestor, Gwenevieve Macken, and her mystical (and foreign) Guardian, Maedus, their life on the sacred ground she holds in Ireland for the aforementioned gods (the farm is known as Bitter Thorn Grove), up to the sacred date of Imbolc (which is the traditional date for the battle). What happens to Gwenevieve and Maedus, when as the epic battle approaches and is fought? What is the aftermath thereof? Why did their story remain hidden from the family for 1500 years? You’ll have to read DRUID WARRIOR PRINCE to find out! 🙂
