*sigh*Sorry. This went live early…again. Anywho, how are you this Sunday? I picked up some new books to read.
It’s been a good week, but albeit, one in which I ended up doing a lot more work than I thought I had to do. Why? If you follow me on Instagram you’ve probably seen this already, but I came home from a walk at the park this weekend thinking, “Oh, I know how to finish that book. 10,000 words should do it!” (which book? You’ll have to wait and see, although, there is a tie into one of my series. And yes, I’m also working on the next Antique Magic book. :))
Only to be reminded I hadn’t gotten to the heart of said-story, yet. Okay, I officially admit it. I write too much. I did make progress, though I’m not sure how much. Shall we say 25,000-40,000 words to go? Ugh! So what do we do when writing gets stuck? Read, of course.
Yes, I got some reading done, but didn’t finish like I’d expected to (No, I take it back. *smacks forehead* I finished the audiobook of Gail Carriger’s Prudence. Enjoyed it, if you want to know. 🙂 I may put the next one on my to be read list. I’m listening to the audiobook of Kelley Armstrong’s Stolen, now. I pretty much just started it, but so far, so good. :))
And what else I picked up this week. Well, like I said, new books to read:
Vanessa and her Sister by Priya Parmar
Of Cinder and Madness (Once Upon a Darkened Night Book 1) by Nicole Zoltack
The Wild Child (The Bride Trilogy Book 1) by Mary Jo Putney (which is free right now)
Duchess (Reign of Prophecy Book 1) Nicolette Andrews
The Golden Key by Cathleen Townsend
The Captain’s Bluestocking Mistress: Historical Regency Romance (Dukes of War Book 3)
Tales of Ever After: A Fellowship of Fantasy Anthology
H. L. Burke, Alex McGilvery, L. Palmer, Kristen S. Walker, Gretchen E.K. Engel, Ashley and more
Five Gold Rings – Sisters of Hex prequel: A reverse harem short story by Bea Paige
Deadly Secrets: The truth will out… (A Lambeth Group Thriller) Gordon Bickerstaff
And…I think that’s it. Did you make any progress in your projects this week? I hope so. And more next week, too!
