A vague weekend update–#writerslife #bloggersblast #bibliophile #whattoread #amwritingfantasy

Hi, everyone. I hope you’ve been well. Sorry I dropped off the face of the earth this week. I was about to start the next round of edits for a book I’ve been steaming ahead on (see last post) and…I received some news that threw me for a loop. I thought it better to do nothing for a bit while I process so I don’t make a mess of some Very Important Projects.

I know, I know, I’m being purposely vague, but, oh well.

The short of it is, I’m here behind the scenes making…not as much progress as I’d hoped (I had hoped to have a proof shuttling my way for one of those ViPrs by now, but no). I haven’t even wanted to write this last two weeks (much, if notes that may get thrown out count)…what does that tell you?

In the meantime, to distract myself, I’ve been mucking around doing mindless things like scrolling through Twitter, retweeting, scrolling through *grumble* Facebook , and trying to learn more about photomanipulation, reading selectively, and watching movies. Mindless, distracting fun. Which is needed.
In other news, we did make a slight bit of progress: I have picked up some narrators to make another few (yes, I said few) audiobooks and in between that, I hope to get back to normal. But it might be another week or two before I feel confident to touch any of those ViPr’s I mentioned. To fill in the gap, I do have a guest coming up sometime soon. I also managed to get some books read this last couple weeks, got some reviews up, but need to write another. I promise I will be doing that.

In the meantime, If you’d like to see the last couple posts, I’ve put out, they’re here and here. And don’t forget, the “Girls Kick A$$” sale is still going on, featuring, yes, The Artist’s Inheritance. You can find the list of all the cool titles on sale through April 11 here.

Meanwhile, stay tuned for the forthcoming guest post.
