I meant to post this earlier in the month, but things got in the way (see last post). As of December 31st, I achieved a goal that, I probably shouldn’t have worried about: The 2017 Goodreads reading challenge. I signed up for it a bit late, but decided heck, I was reading anyway. I might as well make note of it somewhere. I picked 15, then upped it to 20, then 30.
What did I read? Well, here’s the list. These aren’t necessarily in chronological, by the way.
1: Magic Burns by Ilona Andrews (audiobook)2: Kitty Takes a Holiday by Carrie Vaughn (audiobook)3 Whobeda’s Guide to Basic Astrology by Marcha Fox4: Staurolite by Marsha A. Moore5: The Earl’s Unsuitable Bride by Lauren Royal & Devon Royal6: Sell More Books With Less Social Media by Chris Syme(which, by the way, is hopelessly outdated) 7: Grace Unmasked by Suzanne G. Rogers8: RULES FOR A PROPER GOVERNESS by Jennifer Ashley9: Larken by Suzanne G. Rogers (audiobook)10: DARK GOLD by Christine Fehaan. (audiobook. Almost DNF’d it, but I went ahead and finished it. I hoped to like it more, but I didn’t. C’est la Vie)11: A VICTORIAN GRIMOIRE by Patricia Telesco.12: MIDNIGHT MARRIAGE by Lucinda Brant13: SECOND SUMMER OF THE SISTERHOOD by Ann Brashares14: The Tower’s Alchemist by Alesha Escobar15: Shadows of the Heart by Patty G. Henderson (audiobook).16 Faerie Killer by Emma Adams 17How to be a Victorian by Ruth Goodman18 Kitchen Table Tarot by Melissa Cynova19 Fires of Vesuvius by Mary Beard20: Ovid, the Erotic Poems21 A Gift for Fiona by Suzanne G. Rogers22 Tess of the D’ubervilles by Thomas Hardy 23 Bride’s Adventure by Caroline Clemmons24 Cupcakes, Trinkets, and Other Deadly Magic . By Meghan Ciana Doidge25: Seduction at the Christmas Court by Jenna Jaxon (which is now only available in this boxed set)26: Betrothal by Jenna Jaxon27: Lament of the Last Goddess by Jolene Dawe 28: Fairytale Christmas by Merrie Destefano29: Buried Cities, Complete Pompeii, Olympia, Mycenae by Jennie Hall30. Immortal Outlaw (Immortal Brotherhood, #2) by Lisa Hendrix31. Witch of the Cards by Catherine Stein(I think I read that one this year. Might’ve been last year; I forgot to date it. whoops!)32. One of the (not-blush free) Viking titles by Bambi Lynn33: On Writing, by Stephen King
And…there were a few more that I can’t for the life of me remember the correct titles to find them again on Amazon. So, technically, I read something like closer to the 35 book range. And yes, this in between releasing the ones I put out myself last year. So, how ’bout you? How many did you read, last year?
