Post Irma Sunday–#Sundayblogs #BloggersBlast

Meme hosted by Kimberley of Caffeinated Book Reviews

So, Sunday again. This week has flown by! Why did I not notice? Well, do you recall me mentioning that hurricane we got last week? Yeah, I’ve had tree cutting and outside work to do. The good news is, we’re almost completely finished. Said-tree is such a huge mother we don’t have anymore space in our pile to put more cuttings.

That would be my husband’s hand against the stump there. As a point of reference, his hands are bigger than mine. So it was….yeah. A job. (No, he didn’t cut it with that rinky dink little saw. That was in the picture as a joke. :))

So now we just wait for the trash men to come and get it. That means…blessed time to veg! Woohoo!
Luckily we didn’t get as much damage (or a power outage!) as others south of us.

Why yes, I am sore all over from the work that tree cutting took, why do you ask? While I did manage to find a new template for my blog (which I’m not certain I’m happy with all its bells and whistles yet) I haven’t had much time to read this week, except for after nightfall. But I did manage to a) post a review for Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants on my book blog (Can’t believe I forgot to do that.. I read it…like, over a year ago). And b) finished reading the second book: Second Summer of the Sisterhood by Ann Brashares. What?? I didn’t do any writing? Didn’t even think about it?? Something must be wrong. Yeah….er, brain, fried? I did realize I didn’t review the first Sisterhood book, so I’ve quickly posted one on my review blog. My review for Second Summer is scheduled to go up on the blog later this week.

Or so…

As for blogging, other than the review I just posted on my book blog, I did manage to get one out–no two! 🙂

Almost Ready (Which, thanks to Irma what’s said in that post is pushed back. Grrr…)

Books I bought this week…only one:
a pre-order of A Mother’s Love by Jolene Dawe

So that was my week. I hope you had a good one!
