Genre readers, unite…please?

You know, one of the things I dislike about being a reader is this snobbishness that crops up in the debate of genre vs. literary works.  Personally, I read both. I adore Virginia Woolf, and Tolkien/Lisa Shearin/Arthur C. Clarke/Melanie Rawn/Michael Moorcock/Rom com author Kathy Carmichael and so many more. Is that so wrong??? 🙂 I don’t think so.

Neither does mystery author Cathy Pickens. She wrote a long post about genre readers vs. non-genre readers, and I think it’s work a look. Read her interesting post on the subject here.
