Why did you start writing?
These kinds of questions never really tell you much, you know? I really don’t know why I started writing. To me, it’s an existential question, like, why do we love or hate, or breathe? I just had a story in my mind and wanted to get it down on paper and they’ve kept coming from that first crack in the dam. There were new worlds I wanted to get down on paper, and stories I knew weren’t being told (or being under-told maybe is a better word) and I started telling them. Succinctly, I love writing. Otherwise, I wouldn’t've lasted past all the infuriating hurdles I had to crawl over to get this far.
How long have you been writing?
I’ve been telling stories all my life. I didn’t start seriously writing them down until about 18-20 years ago.
What are your favorite genres?
Fantasy then SF, Classics, and some romance.
What is your blog about?
About my books, my writing, my love of music and movies, and also a showcase for some of the writers I’ve been lucky to meet over the last few years.
What do you do when you’re not writing?
Read mostly, and garden when the weather is tolerable. Down here that’s between November and April and in some between 8AM and 9AM. *lol*
